Toby is a businessman who is very easy to work with as evidenced by his business volume. I had a NY vehicle (aka RUSTY PARTS) and he was recommended to us by his brother to do a ball joint replacement job. Not only did he call several places to get the prices on a particular make of part, he did it in front of me (female). He told me he could get parts at a lower price, but he wasn't thrilled with their quality. At no time did I feel like I was being taken advantage of. He had the truck for 3 days, but more because he had that much work. He also stated it would be that long before he could do it...since we have a spare vehicle this was not an issue. The parts cost $158.00, labor (3 hours) was $145.00, and I believe this was a fairly reasonable rate to replace both lower ball joints. He also checked on a separate potential issue, and when he had the opportunity to say it needs to be fixed now, he told us that at the time it wasn't major and it could be something we keep an eye on for it getting worse. We have moved since he did this work, but if I was still in the area, I would most definitely go back to Toby.
