First a little of my background. I was Service Manager at a Honda dealer for about 5 years, that's when my mom bought her new '89 Accord LX. I'm also an ASE certified Master Technician. Here's the story. I work at a Chevrolet dealer, although not in the Service Department. Mom's car was starting hard & stalling when cold. None of the techs knew anything about Hondas, and I forgot what little I knew, so the Shop Foreman suggested I take it to his friend who is Service Manager at an Acura dealer. They diagnosed a leaking insulator under the carburetor, said it was very common. The price was around $300 for everything. Well it sat there for a month while they tried to find the part, it was no longer available from Honda due to the age of the car. I finally had to pick it up because a hurricane was coming. They were very nice, detailed mom's car & didn't charge me for anything. As I was leaving they asked me to let them know if I ever found the part. Mom's car sat a while longer as I pondered my next step, thank goodness mom's retired. One of the techs at work suggested Jap. Tech., said his sister in law has a similar problem. I called them & made an appointment. I took it in, told them of my previous experience with the dealer. Later that day they called to say it just needed a PCV valve, less than $100 parts & labor, including diagnosis, and they had the part! I authorized the repair, and asked them to re-check it in the morning. They called the next morning to say it was fine, come pick her up. Well it is fixed! They had an opportunity to sell me some expensive carburetor work, and throw in the $20 PCV valve, but they didn't. They're experienced enough with Hondas to know all it needed was a part that I should have replaced years ago in the course of normal maintenance. As you must have guessed by know I highly recommend Jap. Tech. Inc.

Great mechanics who really know thier Honda's and Acura's. You will: 1) Get the same expertise that you would get at the dealer. Much better than going to some corner mechanic with you Honda or Acura problems. 2) Get a lower price than at the dealer, with the same warranties, and the same Honda and Acura parts. 3) Get better service than at the dealer, especially if you've got an older Honda or Acura. They won't rip you off like the dealer would. 4) Get treated like a person, not just a number. They remember every customer.

JapTech has been servicing my Acuras since 1994. Not only are they the finest automotive diagnosticians and mechanics I have ever found, but their honesty and integrity never ceases to amaze. Seemingly costly repairs have been fixed in a matter of minutes, often without charge. And when costly repairs are required, they go out of their way to minimize the expense. Fact is, I've continued to buy Acuras BECAUSE of my trust and faith in JapTech. They are a joy to do business with. Scott Ross Aventura, Florida

I've owned Acura products since 1987 and don't know anyone I trust more. On occasion, they have made a minor repair for free. It is a small operation but they are opening up an additional location. The owners first name is Howard.

I can always count on JAPTECH to find and fix the problem. They are very RELIABLE and HONEST. I dont have to think if i am being SCAMMED when going to JAPTECH. I really like their service. Their prices are lower than what you would pay at the dealer. I save a lot by using the COUPONS from the website and from using my REWARD CARD. Its so hard to find good, honest mechanic shops, but you can be sure with JAPTECH you won't be mislead.

I've been a customer for a long time, I trust the owner like I trust my family Dr. he is honest and I don't have to take my husband in to make sure they are not going to over charge me because I'm a woman.....that is why I keep coming back.

I have known Howard and Joe since they open their first shop on Southwest area that was about 25 yrs ago. Then they opened their second shop on the northwest area, that's when I met Howard. He's is the most kind, honest person that I've ever known. At that time, I used to drive a Toyota Celica, and he changed my brakes and didn't charge me a dime; he just told me I work on Hondas and Acura. I just work next door, so after that, I bought a Honda because I knew I can rely on them to fix my car. Thanks for your honesty, loyalty, and sincerity to us, the customer.
