I had taken my car in because of overheating to two mechanics before I brought it to Xtreme Autowerke. Both times, I was gouged for money and they still didn't fix the problem (to make matters worse, my car was in one of the shops for THREE WEEKS straight. I'm serious.) I brought it in to Marcelo at Xtreme, and he knew exactly what was wrong, patiently explained it to me, and had it ready within a week. All for a reasonable price. Even better, he actually noticed my right taillight was out and replaced the bulb, with no extra charge. His garage is so well-organized, I was amazed (the bathroom was even clean. Come on. How many times has that happened?). It's so difficult to find a trustworthy mechanic in Miami, which was why I'd highly recommend Xtreme Autowerke to anyone who has a car problem.

Shop's owner, Marcelo Hansen, personally takes care of customers. This shop has a very knowledgeable and certified team. They are very committed to customer service and fix the problem the first time. They specialize in high performance, reconstruction and modified cars.

Knowing that the AC compressor in my '01 Audi A6 4.2 was functioning but would not come on, I went to "The Collection" Audi dealership in Miami. There they charged me $165 to look at it which took 4 hours and concluded that I needed a new compressor and that it would cost $2,300. Very unhappy with this rip-off I searched the Car talk website for a local mechanic and found Xtreme Autowerke owned and run by Marcelo Hansen. They took a look, concluded that it was in fact an electrical problem, put in a new relay and in three hours I was cool again in the Miami heat and for $2,000 less than "The Collection" wanted out of me. $2,000 less! Not only that, I got to talk to my mechanic, Arturo who is Audi certified and was handed the remote to watch whatever I wanted on TV which is hooked up to an incredible sound system. Marcelo and his gentlemen are real, honest, friendly and can do anything to a car. I will be going back again and again for every little thing and maybe I will even begin to customize this Audi. That is how much I appreciate Xtreme Autowerke. I want to get things from them that I don't even need. I'm new to Miami and now feel that I have found a home for all things Audi. I love this car and plan to run it for as long as it will run and with Marcelo Hansen nearby, it should be a long, long time. Meanwhile I will file a report about "The Collection" with the Better Business Bureau.
