I used to have a 1988 Subaru Justy DL 3-Door Hatchback. I had to buy a waterpump for the car and could only get it from the dealership. The part cost $70. The dealership offered to put the part on for $80. Lou put it on my car in 15 minutes and charged me $10.

Lou is impeccably honest and thoroughly competent. Took time to explain exactly what the car needed and why. Also explained what was not needed (as in could not possibly be required) and why. Charged for his time based on what it actually took -- less than the dealer's inflated prices. A lot more honest than the dealer, too, who's service manager keeps trying to sell quack services to boost his commisssions. Says all he wants is a referral.

Very competent and fair. I do not live here, but was here on a visit and needed a quick job done. Lou was extremely accommodating and appears to be scrupulously honest. Did not replace any parts that didn't need to be replaced and was particularly meticulous in cleaning and lubing all parts. Repair was done quickly, thoroughly, and well at a very reasonable price.
