A mistake was made on the invoice, for the replacement parts. (I was also give a choice between Ford parts and aftermarket parts and informed what the price difference was.) I was notified before I was more than 1 mile away and asked to return at my convenience. I returned to the shop and was give an immediate refund. I do not know when this ever happened to me before.

I have had my 2002 Ford Ranger serviced there since new. Their VIP oil change ($29.95 at this time 2009) is the best. They even lubricate the pick-up tailgate. Everything is inspected. During one Saturday, I had to have the shocks replaced. I came from Dade County and since the repair and oil change would take over 2 hours, Alan offered to get me a rental car at his expense and even pulled out the keys to his car for me to use. Golden Hands is in Broward, and Alan offers a rental car at his expense if you come from Dade or Palm Beach County and the repairs take longer then 2 hours. As he admits, he is not the cheapest, but he keeps top notch mechanics and top notch diagnostic equipment.

Alan (last name unknown) is one of a kind. He has avery honest approch to busness. He does however have a sunday local talk show. Personality aside he requires that all mechanics be certified on the car he is working on. He has a very knowlegable staff and of diversified backround. I feel that if somthing is above his skills he will tell you. But I have given him my '62 Trimph TR4 for vapor lock problems, he fixed it better and faster than a British shop nearby. Mark Berman

Alan,{ The owner} couldn"t have gone to charm school. If I"m wrong and he did he certainly didn"t do it cum laude.Very difficult to get him to smile and I feel he"s expensive but worth every penny because each time he"s woked on my now 11 year old Camry he or one of his mechanics patiently pointed out what needed to be done, what could wait, and even some things I suspected required attention that were perfecly O.K. In one case which meant having to leave the car for several hours he had someone drive me home who ,when the car was ready picked me up and drove me back.He also proved to me that an A.C. repair done by a highly recommended competitor at a cost of several hundred dollars hadn"t been successful . I gave him the go ahea
