Paul Monahan, the owner, is a very helpful and honest man. I have brought my car several times for a variety of repairs, and the work has always been done quickly and for a very reasonable cost, including getting used parts where necessary to save on costs. This last time, after replacing the water pump and timing belt (and not charging me an arm and a leg!), the car was still not running right. I brought it back and Paul personally took the time (6 hours a day for 4 days!!) taking the car apart (the timing belt) and putting it together again several times and troubleshooting the problem until he got the car to run great again. For all this extra effort he charged me $100 for parts -- in the 18 years I have owned this car, I have never found a mechanic this conscientious and honest and helpful. An amazing place!!!!

I had my college-age nephew go there after seeing the name in Mechanic's Files, and he had a ridiculous estimate from another independent shop. Price came in at about 60% of other estimate.

Paul took the time to explain the problem in detail. Also, he consulted with me before performing additional work on the car. When the some of the parts were not available at his locale, he shopped around to find me the most inexpensive replacement part.
