Barry ate about $800.00 in parts, labor, towing, etc. when he couldn't find the problem (Not his fault-a supplier kept sending faulty parts, and actually broke a part sent for diagnosis and blamed me and my mechanic, saying we tamperedwith it-NOT SO!) Barry rented me a car when I needed one for a business trip. I can not say enoughfor this mechanic! Although I am female, I have worked on cars and trucks most of my life, so it is hard to lput anything over on me. Barry has always been honest and candid about everything. His workers are the same. They all go out of their way to explain, admit, advise. This was the first auto to completely baffle him! Not his fault! The Acura dealer was baffled, and so was the factory. The supplier wasn't! They kept sending defective parts! The last thing Barry said when he delivered my carwas, "Fran, I don't want to see you or this car for at least a week!" He will though, when I take them a big Pizza for lunch!

As a weekend mechanic myself I have come to distrust all shops. Even if theydo listen and do most of the work correctly they either forget ro put something back properly or screw up something minor at reassebly. They also never go the extra mile to clean, Lube , ect. the areas around where they were just working!!!. (That makes me crazy) Well Mike and the crue always check each other and keep everyone ooon their toes. I cant imagin having found someone I can trust to work on my wifes car of my vintage Saab. Try him you'l like him!!!!!!!!!

Import Automotive has worked on my old Toyota Tercel and my Mitsubishi Eclipse since 1997. They have always given me an estimate in advance. Their work has been timely and their prices reasonable. Tony Santos has been honest enough to admit it when he could not do the work, for example when he did not have the equipment to read the computer codes from my car, he recommended that I take it to the dealer. I recommend this shop hightly.
