The mechanics know their business. I trust them completely to do only what is asked for or is necessary, and at a reasonable price. What more can you ask?

While in Florida visiting from NY recently, my 1988 Sterling 825SL just stopping starting one day. It was first worked on by a "mobile mechanic" in the area, then brought to a local Acura dealer, then to a Mercedes dealer. With costs at close to $1000.00 and the car still not repaired or running. Frustrated, and mad as hell, I was almost ready to either donate the car to a charity or have it towed to a wrecker that shreaded or compacted cars. As a last resort, after an internet search, I came upon a customer review of Connelly's in Clearwater listed on Car Talk @ Cars.com. I called Connelly's and explained the problem, and they were nice enough to recommend another repair shop who they said could fix the problem with my car if anyone could. It was then towed to Wayne Purdy European Motors, 1455 So. Greenwood Avenue, Clearwater, FL 727-443-5778. They called me the next day to say the car was ready, and the repair with towing and taxes included was $146.43. The problem was a bad ignition rotor. The mechanic was Marty. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you... Connelly's - Marty at Wayne Purdy European, and CARS.COM!!! ... and the person who wrote the review I read too!!! Dennis Conley Bellport, NY licycles@hotmail.com

On the way home from work, the tire on my 2001 Hyundai Accent went flat. I only pulled into Connelly's to get off the road. The mechanic (didn't get his name) and owner were right there to diagnose the problem (a torn air valve) and fixed it. Mr. Connelly explained the possible causes and charged $12 for the repair which included balancing the tire (something the local Hyundai dealership did not do when they rotated tires & charged plenty) I am exceptionally grateful that there are people like Connelly in the auto business. My father was an honest 'A' mechanic & it's nice to know that the old-world work ethic is not dead. It restores my faith in mankind. I will bring my car there for all future service. Glad to see this place listed here.

I have been taking my cars to Rich at Connelly's for years. He's worked on my 1980 Honda Civic, 1995 Acura Integra and 1994 Toyota 4Runner. I trust him completely to be honest, resonably priced and to do a good job.

They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I didn't have the money for the repair in cash so he said to pay him when I had the cash... He didn't even know my name... Very trustworthy and easy to work with.

I'm 51 years old woman and served all my cars at dealer center only. I have no idea what is under the hood. Today I understood that Connelly's Auto Center can beat any Toyota service center and I strongly recommend Rich Bluder as a honest mechanic. Thanks for fixing my Toyota Matrix 2005.
