The first shop I went to told me I needed a new compressor but the price was outrageous. A friend referred me to Patten's. The price Chris gave me was excellent and I took my car to him that day. The new compressor was put in but not functioning as Chris thought it should. He asked to keep the car longer so he could find the problem. A small part had broken off the old compressor and was occasionally blocking the flow of the A/C in one of the lines. I don't believe any other shop would have taken the time or effort to locate and fix this problem. Chris did so cheerfully. I was kept abreast of all the work being done. Chris did not try to sell me something I didn't need. The price he quoted is the price I paid. He is the most HONEST person I have ever had work on my car. The waiting room is bright, cheery, and comfortable. I would highly recommend him to all of my friends and relatives.
