Mike is the nephew of the owner of Precision Automotive and is the most honest auto mechanic I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He has been our mechanic for 20+ years seeing my two daughters through a 1972 used Chrysler and my personal Ford van, Nissan Wagon, Honda (2) sedans, and Honda Odyssey. He is always used to prepare my cars for road trips and will tell me when things need to be fixed and what it will cost. When I have concerns about something, I can count on him to let me know if it actually needs repair immediately or if it is good for another 3000 miles. Mike is the mechanic to you can trust to work on your children's cars knowing that he will not change out parts just to make a profit from someone that has no mechanical knowledge. I was a top level rotor wing (helicopter mechanic) in the military, have mechanical background, and used to perform a lot of the mechanical work on my cars, but find using Mike to be a much better choice. I still satisfy my mechanical urges by performing owner allowed work on my airplane.

Absolutely top-notch in all respects. I found Mike and his shop about 15 years ago after having used five other repair facilities who just couldn't keep our Chrysler minivan operating effectively for more than a couple of months at a time (strange oil leaks, power steering issues, etc.) The folks at Precision Auto gave it a very thorough going over and found several inexpensive fixes that permanently solved our issues. All our family vehicles from Toyota sedans to Ford pickup trucks have been in Mike's care since than and we've never been disappointed. He's the first mechanic I've met who always asks me in-depth questions about our driving styles, upcoming trips planned, and maintenance I've performed before recommending any repairs. And he very clearly lets me know what NEEDS to be done versus what can wait (and, in his opinion, would be a waste of money to fix now).
