Put my car in the first time with a reccomendation from a close friend, replace timing belt, etc. Upon payment the owner said, "If you have any problems, call me." ??!! Needless to say I was IMPRESSED. One thing: This place is so busy you need to make an appointment for about a week ahead.

When I was in graduate school at the Univ. of DE, I had quite a clunker of a car. The guys at K&S helped me out with all of my repair problems. When there was a problem, they explained it to me in an understandable, non- patronizing manner. Their prices were reasonable and they took care of several small things for free. One time, I kept hearing a sound in my car, but everytime I took it, the car wouldn't make the sound. I kept expecting the guys to laugh at me as I had been there several times, but they never did. Finally, the car made the sound and they were able to diagnose and treat the problem promptly. These guys really saved my sanity during my two-year stint in Delaware. I highly recommend this garage.

excellent service, really nice and cooperative, busy so book ahead and often a little slow on service but worth it

I asked them to examine my car, and they explained what was needed and what should be watched in the future in very good detail.

They sent out the transmission on our old Chrysler Town and Country for a rebuild. The transmission began misbehaving about 40 miles from home about a week after its return. My wife got the car off the road and into a parking lot. They had the car towed back to their garage, removed the transmission, sent it back to the rebuild company, reinstalled it and charged us...nothing. The owner, John Smith, is intelligent and honest. Not the cheapest or most expensive garage around, but the most competent I've discovered in the area and, as my story demonstrates, they stand behind their work.
