I was transferred to CT six years ago and needed to have my vehicle repaired shortly after arriving. Having moved from Florida, I did not know anyone, especially auto mechanics. I stopped at a local gas station and asked for a suggestion on a auto mechanic and then went to the local auto parts store and asked again. Both times the first thing out of their mouth was "Go see Glen Johnson at Morrison & Johnson". I did as suggested and was very impressed. I asked Glen to have the car done for me on Sat night so I could go on a business trip the next morning. I returned to pick up my car from his shop after they had closed for the day. Glen had told me where he had placed the keys and said "Go ahead and take the car and bring me back the money next week after you get back home". This impressed me enough that I have never taken my car to anyone else since. I'm sure there are shops that are less expensive, but his professionalism is reason enough for me to not stray.
