I have been bringing my cars here for years. Years ago I bought a used Volvo that eventually had a problem, and brought it to a 'Volvo specialist' garage in another town, foolishly thinking that they would take care of it with no problem. They charged me a fortune, and didn't fix it right the first time. I brought it back to the 'specialists', they charged me again (I know, stupid me)and still didn't resolve the problem. I brought my car to Mike and Paul at C & C. They looked at the car and told me it could be one of two things, and it would likely be covered under warranty. (I can't remember the specifics.) They even called a Volvo dealership, talked to the service manager and told them what was going on with the car. I brought my car to the dealership and sure enough, it was what Mike and Paul said it was, and it was covered under warranty. They could have charged me to fix the problem, but instead they directed me to the dealership and saved me money. Since then, I have never brought my cars anywhere else. They are honest, they don't fix things that don't need it, and they don't try to rip you off. I have recommended them to many people and every person that has brought their car there has thanked me for recommending them.

My family has considered Mike the family mechanic for so long, that he was working in Fairfield when the relationship started. We'd follow him any where. He and Paul have worked on Chevys, Buicks, Fords, Chryslers and Volvos for us through the years. They are available, prompt and fair. As a curious but automotive funtional illiterate, they've respected my questions and can be counted on to give me good, straight answers. I am lucky that I've never had to worry or have anxiety when my car needs servicing.
