The folks at Berkshire Motors have worked on my cars for years. With a collection of older cars, we see them often. They have always been honest and have never steered us wrong. Honesty and courtesy is the backbone of this business!

I have neighbor who is a quadraparalegic and has a van outfitted for her to be able to drive. Recently. she had not been doing that well and the van was sidelind for a few years. My neighbor recovered sufficiently to start using the van again and especially wanted to use it to go to her sisters upcoming wedding. I brought it to Jim, the owner of Berkshire Motors for some repair work. While they were doing the work (brakes, tires, tune up) I told him of the trials and tribulations my neighbor has been through with her physical limitations. I mentioned that I needed someone who could do a good job of cleaning the van as it had been sitting under a tree for several years and maybe even some creatures had taken up residence in it. Jim said he thought he knew someone who could come to the shop and clean it inside and out. He arranged for the work to be done and when I went to pick up the van I asked him what the cost of cleaning was and he refused to take the money thus provided a great present for my neighbor who could attend her sisters wedding in her bright and shiny van. Moral of the Story: Mechanics are also good people!

They have found and corrected intermittent problems which other garages had not been able to correct. They are thorough and knowledgable. I have been using them for several years and can rely on them.

Had an estimate for new brakes from my old and reliable mechanic. They did the same job in less than estimated time for exactly the same sum.

We have been using them since 1999. They have maintained all four of our cars - from the high mileage Subaru and Ford to the newer Subaru and minivan. Their prices may be a little higher but we have always gotten excellent timely service. If replacement part fails prematurely, they have always honored the warranty.

They are honest and competent. I trust them to do my work. They are good at diagnosing problems and fix things properly. It is rare to find a garage where you feel you are not getting the run around. These guys are good.

Had my truck (1994 Chevy K1500) in for some work (new rear pinion seal). I was very satisfied with the work they performed, and they suggested some other work that I should have done, as well. Their prices were a little on the high side, but they didn't perform any unnecessary work. I do a lot of my own maintenance work (and will continue to do so), but I was impressed with my experience with them. My wife made the appointment and they treated her with courtesy and respect. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, and have recommended them to a few friends.
