I can't believe you idiots haven't gotten Limestone Service on your list of competent, honest shops already. These guys have been around forever and are famous in our area for being a real repair shop. They do everything from gassing your car and washing your windshield to front-end alignment, brakes and, particularly air conditioning problems. They also have the latest CT clean air emissions equipment. An excellent shop, drive by and see several dozen cars in the lot. Like a good restaurant, a sure sign they are good!

We have been using Limestone for years and they have never let us down. We've had everything done from oil changes to timing belts and valve jobs. They are always fair and straight. I once had a computer problem on my Toyota and they said they could probably fix it, and suggested it would be quicker at the dealer. It was the right thing to do as I needed a new circuit board. Ask for Mark or Jimmy.

They are honest about their abilities. One of my cars is over 10 years old and they don't have all the software necessary to perform a complete diagnosis. On two occasions they have referred me to the dealer for a proper diagnosis. Unlike the dealership, Limestone fixes things rather than automatically replacing parts. I received an estimate from the dealership for various items in excess of $1,800. One of the items was a leaking part on the power steering unit that the dealer said had to be replaced. Limestone did all the repairs for under $500 and tightened something on the power steering to stop the leak, that was 3 years ago and it is still working.

Went to Limestone to get their help reviving a 1990 300ZX with over 220,000 miles...They were great...They got the car through inspection and got it back into very good running condition at a very reasonable and fair price...Highly recommended.

The folks at Limestone Service are great. They communicate the process for diagnosing a complicated problem very well. They have gone out of their way to accommodate my needs when a repair emergency occurs. They will also attempt to fix a part when that is appropriate, rather than automatically ordering a replacement.
