This week on Car Talk, Steven in Oregon has inherited a beautiful, 1987 hand-built Jaguar. It's lovely to look at-- but entirely undriveable. Steven's already sunk a few thou into its myriad problems, and is wondering how much more he should shell out before crying, "Uncle!" Meanwhile, down in Nashville, Jamie says she loves her Toyota more than her hubby, but might he start looking a lot better after she finds out why it won't accelerate from a stop? Also, Winterizing 101 is in session for Professor Michelle, who's just relocated from Atlanta to Toronto, a husband and wife debate the best way to escape Stinkyworld, and could an overheating Saab cook a relationship? mcduck: I happen to be Steve's financial advisor. He came to me with the same keep/dump question. I know how it kills him to spend money and Jags are notorious financial black holes.
