My 99 Jeep Wrangler now has 197,000 miles on it an has been virtually problem free. At 60,000 miles I took it to Newtown Car Care figuring it should be time for a tune-up. They checked it and told me it's running great it doesn't need a tuneup. I tried again at 80,000 miles and again they said "look it's fine it doesn't need a tune-up." Finally at 100,000 miles they said, "OK, it still really doesn't need a tune-up but it does have 100,000 on it so if you want us to we will do but it doesn't really need it if you don't want to spend the money." These guys are great, after you drop the car off and they get a chance to look at it they call to tell you what they found, what they think should be done, what your options are and what the price is going to be for each.

They checked to first see if the broken front spring on my 2001 Ford Focus was under recall, it was! Ford fixed it for free and Newtown Car Care did not charge me.

Gary is honest. My Honda (1999 CR-V 109,000mi.) burned a couple valves. Instead of fixing it and charging me a small fortune, Gary had me call my dealer, who said it was a problem in that model year and replaced the head (complete) at Honda's expense. Gary could have done the work and charged me and i would never have known. Who expects a manufacturer to step up after 100,000 miles?

I took my car there because the brakes were squealing pretty bad. They drove the car and said they work fine. Sometimes brakes squeal! They could have just replaced them but didn't. I went there with a used car that I wanted to inspect the undercarriage. They put it on a lift, let me look at it and they looked at it too. They only charged me for a half hour labor! I felt it was well worth it! Good, friendly people.

Gary was upfront, honest and thorough. He took the time to explain everything to me prior to the job. They did a good job at a decent price. Highly recommended!
