Reviewers Comments:
I used to do the work on my own car, but found that these guys ALWAYS do a better job, faster, and cheaper than I can. I know they treat their female customers well, because my wife trusts them, and they have gained the confidence and trust of the little-old-lady-next-door. These guys are honest, thorough, and friendly. They are willing to take the time necessary to answer questions. Their shop is comfortable, clean and convenient.

I liked the fact that they took the time to explain exactly what they were doing and why it was needed. They worked on A/C and did a good job. Their hourly rates are quite high. I guess you can get a better deal if you shop around, but the work here is quite good.

Stay Tuned is a great shop! After reading the Clik & Clak book, I was convinced my struts needed replacing. For a mere $10, Stay Tuned told me my struts were fine! They could have suckered me into spending hundreds of dollars but didn't! They have always treated me in a professional manner. The work gets done right at a reasonable price, I could not ask for more. I moved away from this neighborhood and I miss Stay Tuned.

Carlos is very patient and willing to explain what needs
to be done, why, and how the part works in the first
place. He has a good sense of humor and doesn't "talk
down" to a non-automotive person who happens to be
female. He treats my husband, who is also a non-car
person, the same way. Staytuned is fast and they
always follow through. It's a relief to take my car to a
place where I don't feel like I'm going to be taken
advantage of just by driving on the property.

Took my car to Staytuned today for the first time,
expecting to have to pay for transmission work. I
finished the day paying $85 total in labor for the
diagnosis and installation of a new starter (plus part
cost of starter). Carlos gave me options of different
starters I could have installed dependng on how much I
wanted to spend. I made the appt. yesterday, brought it
in this morning, and he diagnosed the problem, acquired
the part and had it installed by 2:00. Good communication
throughout the day. I'll definitely go back.

My daughter is in school in San Jose, too far from home for me to respond to
the "hey dad" my car etc etc. The guys at Stay Tuned have always been able to
handle the problem quickly and efficiently and been willing to explain and keep
me informed along the way.

went here for a 2nd opinion after getting bad vibes from a
different shop. glad i did. these guys where
straight-forward, not trying to charge for more work than
needed, but also telling me that certain things will
eventually need to be done - so they are not/less b.s.ing
about it all than some other shops i've been to! i'm going
back to these folks again.

THe car died on the freeway. At first we thought it was
just the timing belt. Boy were we mistaken. It seems Kia
motors have a notorious problem with the pistons shooting
straight up and sometimes out killing the motor. We brought
it to the guys at Stay Tuned Automotive. They helped up get
a tow and even showed us the damage that had been done to
the engine. The guys there had a hard time finding an
engine as it seems they don't make new engines for the Kia
Rio. But with some determination they found us one. And in
no time flat we had the car back and running. Thanks guys!!

The guys at Stay Tuned are great! Had various repairs and
maintenance done there: new rear drum brakes (where they
spotted shoddy work by Sears), two motor mount replacements
and smog checks. Carlos is very knowledgeable and directly
honest about car evaluations and repair/work options. He
runs the shop in a fair and quick manner, Stay Tuned is
highly recommended for any basic or even complicated car
repairs. They are great!

I went to the dealership for an oil change, and they came up
with a whole laundry list of repairs for my car that, as far
as I knew, didn't have any issues. I then went to "Stay
Tuned", and they HONESTLY assessed everything, looked at my
car, and determined nothing was wrong with the vehicle.
They also didn't charge me anything. I will definitely go
back. They are honest and know what they're doing!
