Reviewers Comments:

These guys always do a great job, price their work fairly, stand by their work, and treat their female customers like intelligent, cognizant human beings. I wish I still owned only a Subaru so they could continue to be my primary mechanic...

Specialized Import Auto works so hard on every car they get in to make sure they get everything done to keep the car on the road and the driver happy.

This repair shop is the best Toyota repair shop I have found. These guys really know the cars they work on. They only repair a couple of brands of vehicles (Subaru, Mercedes-Benz and Toyota) so there is no guessing on how to repair my car. I am so happy with them that I recommend them to all my friends.

A fellow subaru owner reccomended Specialized Imports 12 years ago and I have been so happy with their work ever since. Though I am not knowledgeable about cars, they never try and charge me for work that's not needed and if it's just a tiny adjustment on something they don't charge. I am grateful for their skill and honesty. I can trust them to fix things right. All my Subaru owning friends (and there are several) love Specialized Imports

We've taken our Subaru(s) to this repair shop for about ten years, starting with our '85 Subaru and continuing through our twin '93's and 2000. They've always been honest and I trust their diagnoses.

I have a 1991 subaru legacy that I've taken to these guys. I am a single mother with 2 children and no family to help. I needed a mechanic to repair my car so it won't break down somewhere. They have always explained the problem, work needed and how much it was going to cost. They charge the standard rate but you know that your car will be taken of. I think they're great. They have been working on my subaru for the last few years and I trust them.

The folks at Specialized Import Auto service are wonderful to work with. They are honest and nice. They have saved me lots of money that the Subaru dealer would have gladly taken (brake pads). Specialized Auto also saved me lots of money on work and parts that another Subaru repair shop said I needed immediately or something important would fall off. (some kind of pump) Two years later I still haven't lost it. I highly recommend SIAS in Anchorage, AK

After moving to Anchorage from the valley, I tried a few different shops. After my first visit to Specialized, I knew my search was over. Competent, no-nonsense guys running a fair and honest shop. Highly recommended!

I am always impress with their honesty and hard work. For instance, Import auto could have not tell me that perhaps I still had a warranty on my used vehicle that I bought. I checked in with the dealer and my car was covered. This repair cost was over $2K in which I did not have to pay. I also find their prices are much lower than the dealers. It is nice to have a shop that is efficient, competent and reasonably priced. Thank you Specialized Import Auto of Alaska!

Couldn't tell me what was included in service package beforehand or give me a quote, otherwise the work done was satisfactory.
