Reviewers Comments:
I do some auto work on my own cars but, I do not have a
full blown auto shop. Also I am not a journyman mechanic
by any means.I am a guy that was first introduced to Larson
Enterprise by a happy-co worker female. Most important
thing to me about any auto shop is that they be honest. I
beleive Larson enterprise is an honest shop. I bought a
nice type 1 Mazda RX-7 which they worked on. Later I
bought a nicer Mazda type 2 RX-7 convertable and they work
on it infact, they are the only ones that put there hands
on it besides me. They have also recently worked on my 1987
suberue gl sedan. Matt and larson Enterprises has gone
beyond what is comon in auto repair and they keep it that
way. Oh by the way I once had a problem with a job thay did
and Matt took care of it promptly. I dont know what you can
ask for more from this shop. they are pretty fair kinda
people to do buisiness with.

This is a great place to get your car repair. My 92 Miata
has over 375,000 miles on it and I only bring it to Larsen
for repairs. They are always polite and accommodating.
Matt and the rest of the team take the time to explain
what is wrong and what your options are. If they don't
think its worth the money to repair it, they will tell you
that.
The first time, I took my Miata in to Larsen (based on
comments here in this website), they fixed what I wanted
and told me the front brakes should probably be replaced
in the near future. I said I would do that next time.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, I was not able to pick
the car up until the next day. When I did, Matt had
replaced the front brakes because the car didn't sound
right to him.
I said fine, how much more do I owe? Matt's reply was
nothing since I had not wanted to replace the front brakes
until next time and they did it anyway, it would be no
charge.
I have found over the last four years I have brought my
car in for servicing and repair, this is typical. I
highly recommend Larsen Enterprises.

I've been a happy customer of Larsen Enterprises for the
past 17 years. It would take to long to describe all the
reasons why, but here's an example. The first time I used
them I'd taken my recently purchased used Mazda to the
dealer for what I hoped was a repair covered by the
expensive extended warranty. I found out that though the
parts were covered, the connecting wires were not - and
that's what needed repairing. In disgust I had it towed to
a place I didn't know that said it specialized in Japanese
built cars - Larsen. Matthew crimped the wire connecting
the cellanoid to the starter, fixing the problem. I
asked "How much?" he said "For what?".
Over the years I have referred many people to this shop,
because they are honest, reasonably priced, and very
competent. They never talk down to me because I'm female
and always take time to make sure I understand my options.
Not long after, I got them on a preferred vendor list for
the program I worked for for many years. I worked with low
income people, helping them get training and jobs. As part
of this, the program sometimes paid for repairs to their
cars, so they could get to training or work. Since our
clients usually drove beaters, they could always use lots
of expensive mechanical work, but because of limited
budgets we only wanted to pay for enough to keep them on
the road safely. Many shops seemed to see our folks
coming, catch a whiff of government money, and try to take
advantage, detailing expensive and often unneccessary
repairs in the estimates they submitted, and in some cases
doing substandard work or once, not even doing the work we
paid them for. But not Larsen. They treated these people
respectfully, just like other customers, and they always
worked with me to find the least expensive viable plan.
They were honest with me if there wasn't any, too, when
they could easily have just done the work and got paid.
I recently moved to California to take another job. But I
haven't found a shop to compare. I hope to drive up later
this month to visit family, and my plan is to see if they
can give my car its 30K tune up while I'm there.

I have dealt with this shop a couple of times and so far
they have charged me a total of $0 dollars for their
troubles. The first time I had a Camry with an oil leak.
They took a look at it which I know took them at least a
half hour labor, and explained what the problem was (I
already had a good guess but they confirmed it). They gave
me several options, which they explained in detail. They
supported me when I chose the option of doing nothing and
just getting rid of the car. In fact they even called me
back a few weeks later when they found another customer who
was interested in buying the car despite the problem that
they had diagnosed (I had since donated it to charity via
Car Talk's web site).
The second time I dealt with them I told them the problem
over the phone and the guy explained to me exactly how I
could fix it myself without even bringing the car in. Of
course if I wanted help, they would be happy to do that too.
Talking to them, they are very honest and happy to answer
all your questions.

I love this place! I'd read their reviews here and had
been planning on calling them to get my '98 Civic in to
them for a long needed check-up. However, my car forced my
hand sooner that I'd planned.
Late one night, my car went poof (white smoke billowing
everywhere, shaking and lurching). The next morning I
called Larsen's and explained what had happened and asked
if I could have it towed in. (I'd never been there or
talked to them before.) Come on in, they said, you don't
even need to come in with the car. We'll let you know when
the tow truck drops it off and then call you again when
we've had a chance to look at it and have an estimate. The
car got to them a little before noon. By 3 pm, I'd had my
estimate, and by 3 pm the next day I had my car back in
excellent running order and for less than the estimate!
I've found my new mechanic. As a woman, I'm very hesitant
about being taken by a mechanic. As a car owner who
hasn't been as good to her car as I should, I dread the
guilt trip and extras a mechanic can add. Larsen's did
nothing of the sort. 5 pages of part and labor (including
a timing belt change) for less than my last mechanic
charged for a timing belt change alone.
If you have a car that needs any work or just regular
maintenance, bring it to Larsen's - you won't be sorry!

They have worked on our cars for years and they are always
straight forward and honest. They never try and sell us
stuff we don't need. They also have worked on my elderly
parents autos for years and treat them with the greatest of
respect.

We are a collision repair facility, and we use Larson's on a
regular basis for diagnostic and alignments. All of their
personnel have a can-do attitude and are very professional.
Would highly recommend their services to anyone!!
