Dave at Lakeville Automotive has saved two cars for me, a 1996 Honda Civic and a 1976 MGB. He is honest, has a great ability to diagnose, and gives repair options. He broke repairs into categories: need for safety, need for the state, will make driving better, only if you are going to sell it... I have (on more than one occasion) picked up my car and not had either enough cash or a credit card on me. His response has been "drop by and pay next time you are in town." Dave is a great mechanic who runs a high quality shop. I recommend him to everyone that asks.

Dave has kept three cars running for us; He always gives us an accurate estimate and tells us what needs to be done, and his prices are reasonable. There's no public transport around here but Dave will give you a loaner if necessary. Plus he's a friendly guy.

Dave is great - direct, honest, and up front. Only does what is really necessary on my car with a ton of miles, and did the same for my GF when her car developed electrical problems. He fixed it as best he could, but referred her to the dealership for a problem that he knew it would take awhile to figure out.
