I moved to the East Coast about 5 years ago. It takes awhile to find a good mechanic. I had one back in the Midwest after searching for a couple of years. It took me about 3 years to find Modzelewski's. A couple different people recommended them, and after a few $35 oil changes down the street and around the corner, I went. These guys are great. They're not kids. They really know what they're doing. You'll have to make an appointment and get there early. They don't really "keep track" of your car maintenance, but they remember faces, names, and they know your car like your mother knows you. They don't fix it just because "it's time". They fix it when it needs to be fixed, and they can tell you just by listening to the sound of your engine where you've been driving and what mood you've been in. They're great people and to top all of that off, try to find an oil/fluid change, checkup, and tire rotation for $28 anywhere else in the state of CT. If it's broken, they'll fix it. If it's sort of not working right, they'll tell you about it, but they won't insist on fixing it unless it's really broken. They're honest to a fault, and I can't believe that no one has put them on this site before. I have since moved out of the state, but I will always remember Modzelewski's, always come back when I'm in town, and I miss them just as much as family.
