My wife and I have used Dave's Tire as our mechanics for more than twenty years. They have worked on cars we've owned made by VW, Isuzu, Subaru, Volvo, Mazda, Toyota (Prius), and Dodge. When we had young children they dropped what they were doing to not only get my wife's broken-down vehicle, they also drove her to work. They have done inspections of prospective used vehicle purchases for nothing. They have welcomed me when I have had emergencies (like a dome light that would not turn off, thus draining the battery) to do first-aid repairs - again gratis. Now, I recognize that some of these favors have come our way because we are loyal customers who don't question the price they give us or what needs to be done. But this is because they have over and over saved us money and given us sage advice. If a repair can wait awhile, they tell us so so that we can save up for the inevitable. If you have found a repair shop like this, you are fortunate indeed.
