Magical Mystery Windshield Fluid?

RAY: Phil didn't fill the washer reservoir with the washer fluid. What he did was slowly pour it over the electronic ignition module because that was what had failed due to excessive heat.

He poured it very slowly, so that it would have an opportunity to suck up that heat that had made the module fail, and that's why he was confident when he closed the hood and said, "Watch this!" and it started up.

He was lucky it got him all the way back to the shop.

TOM: His wife would have killed him.
