I am writing to save you guys from yourselves because I know the answer you are going to give next week for this week's puzzler is wrong.

As you will probably not recall by the time this reaches you, the puzzler involves "Monty" (no last names?) and Doors # 1, 2 and 3 on "Let's Make a Deal."

No doubt you have done a lot of difficult cogitating to figure out that if you take "Monty's" offer, and switch after he shows you that bozo prize, your chances go form 33.33% to 50%.

This would be true IF Monty were an idiot and offered this deal every single day. But he's not an idiot. He only tries this trick when you already chose the right door. Is that easy enough?

Sheesh. I hope this gets there in time to save you guys from making big fools of yourselves.
