Dear Click and Clack:
Earlier this week, I decided to have lunch on a park bench near my house. I then made the mistake of listening to your weekly podcast.
My loud laughter spooked the guy taking a nap next to me, in the process causing the pigeons feeding on scraps to take off in separate directions.
Panic and pandemonium ensued among the little kids playing across the way. A lady, who I think had a phobia for pigeons, decided to run and broke a heel on one shoe, and fell face flat on the mud.
When all calmed down, everyone was staring in my direction. I got told off by the parents for causing the children to panic and the lady with mud in her face now wants a reimbursement for her broken heel. So I not only received some harsh words but am also out of pocket.
