Hi Tom and Ray,

I bring to you Version 2 of my Zebra car. After 29+ hours of hand wetsanding (something I'll NEVER attempt again in the future), the car was repainted a bright silver (using 3 cans of Krylon spray). Then we, & I say we because my brother Mike helped me out on doing this (even tho he hates to admit to it), used a video projector to project a zebra photo graph on to the car, so we could trace out all the black lines. I submit to you 2 photos for exibit A:

Tracing the black lines:

Finished tracings:

After the tracings were finished, I spent about 5 hours (sunburning the place where my old tshirt & pants gapped, & no, it was much higher up then the 'crack') with a 1-inch foam sponge brush, & a can of oil-based gloss black paint.

Words failed my neighbors & family as they came to view my latest "art-work." There was a few questions to my sanity as well, but hey, I'm used to those comments. I submit to you a few more links to my photos of the finished product.

Front passenger side:

Side shot:

It gets alot of stares & surprisingly enough, a lot of photos taken. I'm still waiting for that one photo in the Burlington Free Press newspaper, or the Rutland Herald with the car, or perhaps meet Ben Cohen, with his double reversed school bus. All 3 things aren't likely to happen, but hey, gotta try anyhow. :)
