Dear Click and Clack,

It was nearly three years ago that I wrote to you two asking for advice on how to adhere astroturf to my lovely 1993 Buick Roadmaster station wagon. Unfortunately, I thought my question went unanswered until my brother recently sent me an article posted in a Philadelphia newspaper that he had found online. It included your answer! And your remarks! It's a good thing I didn't think of experimenting on my neighbor's car first, as an astroturf covered Bentley Continental would have picked up all the girls before my station wagon could have possibly lumbered around the corner.

Anyhow, I want to thank you for your advice and let you know what I DID do. I proceeded to GLUE the astroturf onto the "wood" panels with outdoor carpet glue that the local Home Depot staff so graciously provided me with. The interior was also turfed with astroturf floor mats and the white hood was tastefully spray-painted with a green checkerboard. I know you're worried that I didn't take a picture for you to admire, so here it is:

So here's my long-overdue thank you, and a warning that I'll soon be calling.

Thank you,
Aaron
