Brown-Nosing Our Lousy Show

Dear Dean of Automusic:

This comes to you from a couple of starving students of automusicology. As part of something called a "Crap-Art Project" (which gives you an idea of the quality), my friend Tom Chan and I wrote a song called, "(What I Have T'do T'get My Song On) Car Talk." This is — of course — a shameless attempt to get our song on Car Talk. In a jaunty bluegrass style — we refer to auto parts, Dodge Darts — and in the ultimate suck up move — the producer of your radio show. We've even NAMED the song after the show and say the name every 30 seconds or so. We are still shaking our heads in wonder at this brown-nosed achievement! The question is — the tree having fallen — is there anyone there to listen?

You can check it out right here. PLAY AUDIO

If there is a more appropriate party to approach with this little ditty — please advise — so the charm offensive can roll on to them.

Thanks in advance,

Matt Knight
