Jim and John (J&J) are EXTREMELY knowledgable and competent mechanics. I am often amazed at Jim's ability to diagnose problems with cars. And yet there motto reads: "We don't guess; We test." When you drop your car off, you can be sure that they will get to the bottom of the problem. They are also very friendly and helpful. Several times I have seen them go to the lot to help a motorist who had "limped" in with a bad tire or some other "just-passing-though", "on-the-road" problem. Once, when I was about to be late for a meeting in town and had been waiting at J&J for a set of tires to be delivered, Jim loaned me one of his own cars, a 1970 Cadillac De Ville Convertible. I made it to the meeting on time and picked up my son at nursery school in style. J&J has earned my trust over the years and they have kept my cars running their best.

We have been getting our cars serviced by Jim for years. We had many mechanics before him when we lived elsewhere. None has struck us as being nearly as honest and as competent, the two most important qualities we would want in a mechanic. Jim is constantly updating his training, seems efficient in diagnosing, and we never feel that Jim is out to simply take our money.
