J & J is a great garage, esp ask for "big" Joe.

These two people run their business out of the son-in-laws large home garage. They were recommended by a co-worker after he heard me complaining about the local Lincoln-Mercury dealer as to both their competence and their charges. The Lincoln-Mercury dealer (Sesi) had done a half-a__ job repairing my front brakes to the tune of approx $300. I took my car to John and he immediately assessed the situation correctly, got the correct parts for my car, corrected the problem by replacing what the mechanic at the dealership had done wrong and put in additional parts and charged me a little over half the dealership had!!! This guy and his son are real gems. They really undercharge by so much compared to others that it isn't unusual for peoople to actually give them more than they ask for. I have NEVER known a pair of such competent, honest, capable mechanics in my whole life. They tell me that I can probably get around 200,000 miles out of my 1992 Mercury Grand Marquis and I know that if I keep going to them I surely will!!!!
