Hong refused payment for some minor work on our first visit. Then he accurately diagnosed that we had a thermostat problem, gave us an honest opinion and fixed it at a reasonable price. He was always very pleasant to deal with.

Have been taking my '93 Integra to Hong's for about 2-3 years now. Very happy with quality and price. Denny, the manager has been great to work with. They fixed a sticky power window by troubleshooting and cleaning the electrical contacts (this after the my Acura dealer bamboozled me into buying a new control switch for major cash, which promptly failed within 6 months). I am especially happy that they realize many of us are not made of money, so he explains when repairs and maintenance can be responsibly deferred. This concept is absolutely foreign to the dealer, who feels my car is unsafe because the power radio antenna is broken!

Another update on Hong's garage (2/25/04)...My Integra stranded me with a coolant hose leak last summer. I paid to have it towed to Hong's rather than the closest Honda/Acura shop. Even paying for the tow, still saved by going to Hong's. My car has 156K miles, so stuff is starting to need replacement. Over the past year, I have also replaced my front half shafts (axles) and radiator after they also started failing. All work was done fine, at a reasonable price. One of the rebuilt half shafts had a problem...Denny (the manager) replaced it without hassle at no extra cost. I just bought a 1995 Honda Accord wagon and took it in for timing belt, water pump and 90K service...again good work at a fair price. I have confidence that Hong's will keep my Hondas running for many miles to come.

Great shop. They work only on Hondas/Acuras, and I almost didn't take a great deal on a Subaru recently because I won't be able to take it to them.

My Civic was broken into the 4th time, and this time the bad guys ruined the ignition. Denny (the manager) said parts and labor would be about $150. But they were able to fix the ignition, so they only charged me $70, and most of that was for plastic parts covering the steering column. They only had my car for a couple of days. I would definitely go there again. I recommend them highly.
