Third place I took my car to for repair of the same problem. They fixed it properly the first time for less than what I paid at the first and second repair shops. (Surprising for a girl huh?). Strongly recommended to all women - and some discerning men too!

I visited HondaTech after Rick Case Acura told me my brake pads were worn (5% rear, 10% front) and should be replaced, along with resurfacing rotors, for $360. I questioned the machining of the rotors as I had no pulsations so they said they would replace just pads for $280. I took a pass and stopped at HondaTech. They told me they would replace the pads with Acura parts for $99, front or rear. I said to go ahead, and they went to work immediately. A few minutes later Dwight told me that my rear pads had about 30% wear and could wait another 10,000 miles. I was able to get the work my car needed done for $261 less than my dealer. I inquired of other customers in the shop and they all praised the honesty of the owners. I'll be doing my business with them from now on.

10/1/05 I have a 2003 Honda Civic with 24,000 miles on it. I took it to Maroone Honda of Hollywood because I knew I needed new brake pads, but was surprised to hear them tell me that my brake system was rusted and that I had to have my front calipers, rotors, and pads replaced along with my system flushed ,which they quoted me $880. I thought that this was crazy, my car only has 24,000 miles on it! So I took it to Hondatech and Dwight also seemed to think that this did not sound right. He said that I only needed to resurface my rotors and change my front brake pads. He charged me about $160. They were honest and quick. I will be back to continue to service my honda there. They saved me $700 dollars and a lot of grief.

I have known Donovan and Dwight for more then 10 years. The shop is always busy because they are an excellent choice for all customer types. Toyota, Lexus, Acura, Honda they have the software and hardware the dealer has. Not only are the mechanically able and can perform all tasks to repair problems they are Technically able with the lates handheld scanners that are origional to the vehicle. Also since the new addition to the mechanic bays they have a tire service and four wheel alignment machine. I don't think there is any job they can't complete. At a great price too. I needed tires for my Lexus. Found out the front shocks were bad. They called into my warranty company(Fidelity)and got the parts and labor covered. Same day! I can't say enough about this shop and most of all the guys that own and work there. Truly top notch, and I feel better then the Lexus dealer. I won't take my vehicles anywhere else.

I have taken my 2003 Honda Civic here on three occasions. They have been extremely welcoming, fair and friendly. I have been to ForeignTech (or HondaTech) for minor things like an oil change; I also just had my timing belt done. They replaced the timing belt, drive belts, water pump, crank seal, and valve cover gasket for just under $600. Two other shops (one was a dealer) quoted me between $800 & $850 for just the timing and drive belts. Also, I could not drop my car off at the shop until 5pm one evening . Instead of waiting for Enterprise to come pick me up, one of the shop guys drove me down the road to be sure I got a rental car before Enterprise closed. They did not have to do that, it was very considerate. I am planning a cross country drive this summer, and I feel perfectly comfortable getting behind the wheel now that they have looked at the car and assured all is fine. I wasn't able to bring them brownies as Click and Clack have mandated, but I plan to make a special delivery soon! P.S. I'm a single woman and in no way felt the "need" to have a man around while working with Dwight and his crew.
