We asked them to replace a valve and they took a look at it and told us that it really didn't have to be replaced. They said they'd do if it we wanted them to and it would run $80-some dollars, but it really wasn't necessary. The car was in to have the boots replaced and the cost was the best of over 20 shops I called--and one of the most clean, well-run, and "nice" shops I looked at. The man explained exactly what had happened to my car and what they did to fix it. He found some wear on another part and let me know that it will probably need to be fixed in a year or so. Didn't press me to fix things that didn't need fixing (even if they did down the road) and explained everything to me clearly and fully. Great prices, great service, honesty--what more can you ask for?

I have had consistently good experiences with these folks- my wife and I both had 89 Hondas that we brought in for repair as needed. They always explained what was needed and why, never had any sense that they tried to fix something that didn't need fixing. Often they would explain about an issue with the car that would likely be a problem in the future, but didn't need attending to now, and why that was. Also were good about providing rides over to adjoining Arizona State where I work.

I had taken my 2001 Honda Accord to a dealer for oil change. They came up with a long list of repairs that were needed. I had questions as several months prior they changed oil and found no problems. Based on the reviews on this website, I took my car to Hon-Amotive. They did find needed repairs but not the number and most expensive ones the dealer identified. Their charges were also less than the dealer quoted. I highly recommend them.
