The first experience with I had with Holland Imports, I came with parts from a mail order house under my arm. I thought I could put these on myself (CV boot cover and rear wheel bearings, couple of other things). I couldn't. Leo, the proprietor, willingly took my car and my parts without giving me the expected 'dumb ass' look. Even though his work bays were filled, and with other cars in the "on deck" circle, he was able to have my work done the following day. He charged only labor with no up charge for supplying my own parts and he even gave me advice on replacing an ignition set (which I later had him replace because I couldn't figure it out). I now live approximately 45 minutes away from the shop, but continue to patronize this fine establishment. I reccomend Holland Imports to friends and family without hesitation.

We moved to Milwaukee from Holland recently--and we wish Leo and gang could have moved with us to take care of our 88' Honda Civic! They are very personable and helpful and honest. Try 'em-- you'll like 'em!

Leo and the guys have always been great in serving my cars. Had an 10 year old Audi they kept on the road with life support, long after I should have let it go. Now driving a Mazda and they've given me good maintenance advice to avoid future repairs--Now that's a mechanic!

I first went to Holland Imports after a very unfortunate incident at Gary's Automotive (I will include a review of their service). Jerry, the man behind the desk was friendly, helpful, funny, and sympathic to the fact that Gary of Gray's Automative treated mt like a stupid woman. Woman I am, stupid I am not. Although I am not always completely satsified the first time with Holland Imports, they are pleasent about rework, and that helps me be pleasent about taking my car in again. Other than that they are helpful in their explanations about fixing the few things that need to be done to my 96 VW Passet with 125,000 miles.

I've been going to Holland Imports for a couple years now for work on my '91 Mazda MX-6. Their prices are extremely fair, and their service people are very knowledgable. They only work on 5 makes of cars (Mazda, Honda, Acura, Audi, VW I believe), and they know these cars inside and out. They will explain whatever you want if you don't understand what needs to be done, or why. They will also suggest things for you to do yourself to try to fix or troubleshoot the problem before you have to resort to bringing it in, which can save you money also. I have no complaints and will continue to use them on my old Mazda, and my new Mazda6 for non-warranty work (which I'll have the dealer do until the warranty expires).

Leo and his staff are great! I highly recommend them. I agree with all the previously listed comments.

They seldom complete work on the car on the same day. I usually have to bring it back for a second day. The good news is that they never try to push an unnecessary repair.

My family has taken our vehicles (primarily Hondas, but a couple VWs) there for years and we have always marveled at their honesty and genuine concern for their customers. In fact, they are probably half the reason we keep buying the makes of cars they work on (Honda, VW, Acura, Audi). I would recommend them 100%.

Holland imports are fantastic -- my family has been taking our cars to 'em for years and years. No hesitation recommending them to any one with any of the cars they specialize in (Mazda, Audi, Volkswagon, Acura or Honda).
