The best pickup line was actually a reply to my line. I was walking on the streets of San Francisco, saw a beautiful young woman ahead of me, sped up and said, "You are absolutely gorgeous. Would you like to have lunch?" Her reply was, "Restaurant or room service?" That was 16 years ago. We still enjoy that type of banter. In a kinder time she would have been a great scriptwriter.
