Re: Using cars for dating purposes

When I was in college, a couple of girls got bored at a party that I was throwing and wanted to try their luck out on the streets. One of them asked me if my apartment had a garden. I pointed them to it, and they started scooping up dirt in the cheap plastic cups I was using to serve drinks. They went out to their car and came back a few minutes later for more dirt. I asked them what they were doing. They replied that they were putting dirt in the radiator so that the car would overheat and they could be rescued, evidently by someone dumb enough not to ask them what I asked them: Can't you just *say* it overheated, but "with your fantastic help, it's OK now"?

Your request for bumper stickers reminded me of my favorite, which has nothing to do with dating: "Use an Accordion--Go to Jail."
