Cell Phones and Highway Safety 2007 State Legislative Update
The latest listing of cell phone legislation and the states that are making it happen. One major change has occurred since this was published in March: Washington state passed a prohibition on hand-helds and a prohibition on texting while driving.

NCSL has developed a database for state legislation concerning driver distractions and technology in motor vehicles. The database includes brief summaries of the legislation, bill status information, the bill sponsor and links to the legislation.
