In regard to the man who called in January 18 asking why one of his cars always got bird shit and the other one didn't, it might be of interest to him (and you?) to know that birds defecate (poop) when they are about to fly, or have just taken wing; they "lighten up" so to speak. Consequently, they also do it when they are frightened. (The fight-or-flight reaction for a bird is, obviously, flight). The car that gets bombarded may be parked in a space near where birds frequently take off, making it an unintended, available target. Or, it may be in a spot where the birds are subjected to startling activities.

By the way, I thought this particular program was one of the funniest you've ever had, and the call from space was amazing!
