Dear Tom and Ray:

I recently bought a classic 1963 Chevrolet Corvair! I'm having a hard time finding a repair manual for it. Do you guys know where I could find one and buy it? Please help.[redcar.gif] James

Tom: You need to pick up a copy of Hemmings Motor News (published in Bennington, VT) or Old Cars weekly (published in Iola, WI).

Ray: That's where other people with heaps...er.. I mean "classics" like yours advertise stuff like this. If there's a '63 Corvair manual out there, that's where you'll find it.

Tom: Or you can always take one from the glove compartment of someone else's '63 Corvair, James. Just be courteous enough to leave 'em a copy of this article so they can get a replacement.

It's amazing how many bad driving habits and wacko theories have been passed down from generation to generation! Tom and Ray set the record straight in their booklet "Ten Ways You May Be Ruining Your Car Without Even Knowing It!" To order, send (check or money order) to Ruin, P.O. Box 536475, Orlando, FL 32853-6475. You can also order online.
