Dear Tom and Ray:
I have a 1969 Lincoln sedan, butterfly doors, white leather upholstery in excellent condition. It was my husbands. I have finally come to the point where I can let some one else enjoy it, although I don't want just anybody to have it. How can I find someone who will give it loving care, and who should I contact to find its approximate value?

TOM: It has no value at all, Georgia. But since I'm a nice guy, I'll take it off your hands, and save you the trouble of trying to unload it. Just leave the keys under the mat, and I'll pick it up in the morning.

RAY: Don't leave the keys under the mat, Georgia. My brother is a sleazeball and he loves imperial starcruisers like this Lincoln. You should pick up a copy of Hemmings Motor News, which is published in Bennington, Vermont. Check and see what similar cars are selling for, and then put your ad in. I think it's fair to assume that anyone who's willing to pay a fair price for a classic creampuff like this intends to take very good care of it. On second thought, just leave the keys under the mat, and I'LL pick it up in the morning.
