Car Talk and Narcolepsy
Dear Tom and Ray:
I've been listening to your show for 15 years. I've learned a lot about cars, and even went on a blind date through your show. But that's another letter!
I'm married now, and my wife can always tell when I'm listening to Car Talk by my rather loud snoring. I listen to the show online, in my home office. Usually, I listen to it in the evening when I'm tired from a long day at work. It helps me to relax...well, maybe too much!
It doesn't matter if I'm lying on a bean bag on the floor, or sitting at my desk...I always seem to fall asleep and saw logs. It's not unusual for me to have to play the show three or four times (starting from the last thing I remember) to hear the whole thing.
I'm sure that I'm not the only one who has this problem. If possible, could you please play a loud sound effect of an alarm clock going off before each call? That way I'll be able to spend less time playing the show over and over, and have more time to watch reruns of "Knight Rider." Thanks, guys!!
