#1106: Beware the Anonymous Physicist
Original Air Date: 02.05.2011
Description:
Remember the recent puzzler about the pizza box and the cylindrical fuel tank? Well, it never happened. (At least that's what Ray would like you to believe.) Capisce? Good! Having cleared up that little matter, Click and Clack then do their best to stimulate the economy, by convincing Shawn that his wife's knack for hitting all manner of objects entitles her to a new car, and telling Martha that it's worth spending a few hundred bucks to be able to get the key out of her Subaru. Meanwhile, Deb in Massachusetts is hoping two brothers can referee an argument between her sons over whether one's Sentra is a "chick car." All this, plus a new puzzler from the History of Automotive Manufacturing Series, and lots more, this week on Car Talk.

Feels like bumper hit
by mark.davis@shell.comIn late model GM pickups, the driveshaft "sticks" in the transmission, when the chassis is compressed upon stopping. Whilst stopped or when releasing the brake, it feels just like the truck got hit in the back bumper. Grease.
Best Show ever !
