They are too small to have loaner cars available, but they have driven me home on a couple of occasions, when it was needed. Very nice and competent folks!

These guys are the best and most honest crew I've met. They took excellent care of my wife's car,and treated her with courtesy and respect. I went in expecting a large bill for front end work and they said they simply tightened something. Cost? aw don't worry about it. I came back with a box of cream cheese and bagels--the least I could do. These guys give mechanics a good name.

We chose Plummer's after reading the other reviews on this site. I am SO glad we did. We had an '89 Camry with multiple problems. Some were obvious, some weren't. They test drove the car and immediately noticed we needed new brakes. The car also made a noise, but they concluded the best plan of attack was to fix the brakes, then drive the car again to better isolate the noise, if it was still there. It was, and they immediately identified it as a wheel bearing problem. They called us with the news. There was no pressure. They gave us an estimate and explained the problem in basic English. They didn't try to scare us, just gave us the bottom line. A few hours later they called back and had finished the work, and for $300 less than the original estimate, due to the problem not being as bad as suspected. Frankly, they could have charged us the original amount and we wouldn't known the difference. Talk about honesty! You know, this is the first time in years that I've been satisfied with my experience at the mechanic. The prices were fair and reasonable, not too-good-to-be-true low, and not insanely high. Their thought process seemed completely logical, they treated us with respect, and our old car is now purring like a kitten. I am so pleased I could weep.

They rock, so honest and only do to your car what needs to be done. They don't rip you off and my wife feels totally comfortable going to them

I had neglected my 2003 Taurus while putting 116,000 miles on it and had a brake light and a wobbly front end. I read about them on this website. They treated me with respect. The brakes were not worn out so they did not replace them. They replaced interior tie rods, did an oil change, fixed the wiper fluid thingy and sold me new tires that even I knew I needed. They explained everything and got all the work done on time. As a woman who needs medication to talk to a mechanic(nothing personal guys), I am so relieved to find someone I can trust to take care of my car.

I LOVE Plummer's Automotive! Like the other 6 reviewers have said, I have been consistently delighted with their honesty, quality of work, and customer service. I've been using them for all my auto maintenance and repair needs for the past 3 years now, and I couldn't be happier with their service! As a female, I feel that the staff at Plummer's treats me fairly, and their estimates for each issue, including parts and labor, have ALWAYS been spot-on. I know because I've checked! My father-in-law owns an out of town auto repair shop, and I've always called him to double-check any estimates I receive. And EVERY SINGLE TIME, the estimates from Plummer's are FAIR and COMPETITIVE. And good ol' FIL should know--he's 35 years in the auto industry! Go with Plummer's--you won't be disappointed.

My car was experiencing stalling/stuttering engine problems and I took it to Plummer's. The other shop told me I had a headgasket leak, and the cost to fix would be $1500. I was very skeptical, so I said 'no thanks' and took the car to Plummers, who said 'no, no leak, it just needed a tune-up.' So, several hours and about $125 later, my car was fixed. Voila! Would definitely recommend, as these guys are fair, honest and fast.

We've been there a couple of times - every time we've needed any work done - and they've always been great to work with. Very honest - when we needed a new clutch, they suggested we wait awhile until we really need it, instead of rushing into it now. As it was, we sold the truck long before we really needed it, and they saved us a lot of money!
