The clutch on my Cobra blew out on a Sunday... in Nederland. Which, in case you're wondering, is around about the back end of nowhere. Luckily Terry, the proprietor, was cleaning his grill at the shop and had me bring the car around. He quickly diagnosed the problem and offered me a beer to make me feel better about it! He found a couple of other problems as he worked on the clutch, and put those right too. His rate was reasonable and he always called before doing any work. When he gave the car back it was washed and had a full tank of gas. I was very impressed with his friendly, honest attitude and if it wasn't for the fact that the shop is in Nederland, a long way from where I live, I'd definitely be back whenever my Ford needed work.

Terry, the owner of East Street Garage in Nederland, CO has been taking car of my two Ford vehicles, a F250 and Expedition, for the last two years. During that time, I have gotten to know Terry and appreciate the skill and humor he brings to shop. He is very thorough in his service/maintenance and more than once has corrected a minor problem before it turned into an expensive one. As the former service manager of a Ford, Lincoln, Mercury dealership he has seen and done it all, and knows the right people to refer you to for a warranty repair or an non mechanical issue (damaged fender). What really made me a customer for life, was when my wife had a flat tire and called Terry to ask for a tow truck referral. Instead of leaving her stranded (with 3 kids) waiting for a tow truck, he came out changed out her tire with the spare (showing her how to do it in the future) and took the tire to be repaired. Later that day, he called her to come by the shop and he put the repaired tire back on. Terry only charged her a few bucks for the repair! Good guy, fair prices, and friendly service done right the first time!
