One of the busiest gas station/repair shops in town. Best to get an appointment as all three bays are always full with cars waiting on the apron. Although he doesn't specialize in VW's, Duane is an expert's expert and can make the crankiest VW purr like a kitten. Shop is owned and run by Denny Lauer whos honesty and competence is above reproach.

One of the few independently owned gas/service stations left. Denny really works there. A good place for people who don't know much about their cars; they have been completely honest and up front with me.

This is the place that gives you that peace of mind you can get only by having a mechanic who's competent, honest, and fair. They have no interest in running up your bill, and they respond well to tiny problems and big problems. I send people there with total confidence that they'll be treated well. By the way, the name of the business is now Denny Lauer, as Denny has stopped selling gas.
