I've been taking my 97 Blazer to Canyon Automotive for 2-3 years now, and they've always been great. Their prices are always more than reasonable, and I too have been sent away after simple fixes without any charge. They're always willing to explain what does and doesn't need to be done, and are never condescending. I can't recommend them enough!

Jeff & Mike took the time to really help me out. My vehicle was rather "broken" and they figured out the least- expensive way to get me back on the road. They gave me a really really inexpensive price (no ridiculous gouging at this shop) and then completed the work quickly, properly, and had me back on the road in no time. They are great mechanics who quietly produce excellent results and repairs.

Mike & Jeff have treated me well for a few years now. I have late model Chrysler and Chevy vehicles that they keep going. Their estimates have been accurate and a fraction of what dealer wanted. Plus, several times they fixed stuff that was simple and didn't charge me. Really. They have made a loyal customer out of me.

I took my car into Jeff at Canyon Automotive after a few months of gradually worsening problems with starting issues and stalling issues. I finally took it into Canyon to have the ignition switch replaced. I'm now on day 4 of no issues. A new record. It was done in very little time and the price was better then other area mechanics I had called. I've been looking for a trust-worthy mechanic since I moved to Colorado and I believe I just found them. They remind me of my mechanics back in my little hometown. I'd recommend Canyon to any of my closest friends. Thanks guys!

Mike & Jeff have a good sense of humor and get the job done. Five or six years ago, I had them replace an engine in a F150. They did a great job, and I've been going there ever since.

We brought a van we were considering purchasing into Jeff at Canyon Automotive this morning. Not only did he get us in an hour after we called, he saved us from buying a car that would've cost $2000 in repairs after driving it off the lot! Honest and respectful, I will be doing business with these guys again!

These guys are friendly and responsive as other reviewers have stated, but I question their competency. I had a bad experience. I brought in my pathfinder for a routine timing belt replacement. There was no problem with the vehicle, it was just preventive maintenance. About an hour after i picked it up, the check engine light came on and it felt like it was running poorly. I went back, and they told me they adjusted the timing to fix it. It ran better but not as good as it was when i brought it in. But the next day, the engine light came on again. A few days later, while driving on the highway, i hear a loud noise from the engine and I find the lower radiator shroud had been torn apart by the fan. I bought an ODBII reader and found out that the engine light indicates a faulty knock sensor and multiple misfires. Now, some months later, they want $900 to replace the knock sensor that was fine before they "fixed" my car. I don't recommend this company.
