Hi Car Guys, Please correct the spelling of my last name if possible. TIM STUSSI Also, we focus on service, maintenence & repairs of Import & Domestic vehicle, specializing in Honda, Acura & Toyota.
Oct 30, 2007
Tim is great, he has done quality work on our old East Coast cars. I really respect his honesty and integrity. We brought in an older car that had serious, previously unknown problems. Tim broke down exactly what would be needed to fix it and how much, and in the end gently pushed us towards not dong the repairs and instead getting a newer, more reliable vehicle. I totally trust Tim with our vehicles, highly recommend!

Tim the owner is very pleasant to deal with on the phone and in person. Each time I have had any of my cars serviced he has always been courteous, honest and informative. The shop is extremely clean and the mechanics are respectful of your vehicle, which is a plus because I am somewhat of a neat freak. I would and will highly recommend this shop to all my friends.

Car repair made easy and actually comfortable: Even though this clean and organized shop was full, I felt like the only customer Diablo Auto Specialists had (key word: customer), everything was timely, and when the job was done, I drove away feeling my car had good professional attention and that the repairs were money worth spent. The owner, Tim Stussi, took time and great effort to explain the problem my car was having and the parts required; including diagrams. I received a couple courtesy calls when other issues were found, when the parts came in (as scheduled) and when we were ready to move forward. The repair was done in a single day, and upon pick-up, my car was un-smudged and in great order (as was the paper work). Five stars to Diablo Auto Specialist of Walnut Creek for professional good work and customer courtesy! Scott Heavill Nissan 300Z

These guys are competent and honest. I brought my car in with damage estimated at $400-600 by other places. Tim has found a way to fix the car for $120! I had the car back in 3 hours!

We've now been using these folks for nearly two years for both our Toyota Camry and our (ancient) Honda Civic, and are just as pleased as the first time. The cars.com web site shows the old owner's name, and is missing the address 2149 North Broadway Walnut Creek, CA 94596-3747, but I don't see how to update that.

Tim Stussl runs a highly honest operation, and I'll be using him as my mechanic as long as I have a car that he's willing to work on. His shop is spotless and his mechanics are well paid--he even provides health benefits--yet his repair prices are very reasonable. He's always willing to explain the problem in as much detail as I wish, and he never seems to be in a hurry. On one occasion there was still a minor problem after a repair, but he performed the additional work without complaint and without any charge. Thanks Tim!

Tim really went beyond the call of duty for me. After replacing the clutch, there was a strange knocking sound as I drove away. I returned, and when they couldn't locate the exact source of the problem right away, he set up (and paid for) a car rental for me. The problem was fixed by 9 a.m. the next day and before I picked the car up he fixed two other minor, unrelated matters with my car at no charge. I never felt condescended to and every exchange was pleasant and informative. I had been looking for a new shop, as I recently moved to the area. I'll look no more! As long as I'm in the area, I'll be using Diablo Auto Specialists. Very impressed with their customer service.
