This is a family-owned and run business - Robert Roselli is hard-working, hands-on, competent and has great personal integrity. I believe there are two or three other mechanics, but Rob is "everywhere". His wife, Tracey, takes care of the office, and is always available to run a customer home. They are on first-name terms with all customers - and spend time with them to discuss the qualities and vagaries of their auto's. My car is an '85 Toyota Camry, and needless to say, my visits are more frequent than I would like - but they keep the old girl in good running order - and she even passed a spot smog check by CHP officers with flying colors. There are a few structural repairs that they could repair - but they've advised me to "save that money and buy another car". I appreciate the fact that they should be making more from me, but suspect that they undercharge on labor becasue they know that my financial situation is precarious. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR EXCELLENCE OF PERFORMANCE, PRACTICAL COMPETENCE AND "HEART" YOU COULD NOT DO BETTER THAN PATRONIZE ROB'S AUTO. FRIENDS AND RELATIVES TO WHOM I HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS SHOP, HAVE ALSO BECOME FIRM BELIEVERS. THEY TAKE CARE OF FOREIGN, DOMESTIC AND RV'S, AND SPECIALIZE IN SMOG CHECK AND REPAIR, TUNE-UP, COMPUTER CONTROL SYSTEMS, ELECTRICAL/CHARGING AND BRAKES

We found out about Rob's though a friend several years ago after we first moved to the area. We had a Dodge Caravan and a Ford Contour, and were very close to our previous mechanic. The first time we took our car in they found a problem that our old mechanic had missed, and even fixed a couple of minor things but didn't charge us. Since then, we take all of our vehicles to Rob's and we have yet to drive away unhappy. We had a problem early on with the Contour where it would intermitently not start after being run for awhile. As luck would have it, the problem could not be duplicated when at the shop (whether towed in or driven in) over a several week period. It actually became personal with Rob and he was able to finally diagnose it as a bad electrical connection on the fuel pump when the car died one day close by the shop. The mechanics (with some glee) actually came over to help push it to the shop so they could hook it up to the computers. Needless to say, we will never take our vehicles anywhere else. Thanks, Rob!
