I hate repair shops. Allways a ripoff with guys who don't know a bolt from a pin. They never take any responsibility for any screwups, and my cars and trucks always run worse when they come back. And never once was a job done when they said it would be. Then for some reason of which i have no idea,I took my old toyota truck to this guy named dave at this place on the way to work. Not only was the carb adjusted right but it was done that nite, also he gave me a list of practical future repairs, and get this, with no pressure. Since then my wife and I have had quite a few repairs done there all with the same competent service. If he keeps this up he's gonna ruin the trades reputation. I wouldn't even consider taking a vehikel anywhere else. signed timothy a. peck

Exceptionally clean shop. Very courteous and prompt. Provide rides from/to shop. Firm reliable estimates and prices very competitive.

I've been going to this shop now for about a year to have a VW Passat, Toyota Camry, and my Chevy pickup serviced. I was looking for a local shop in Benicia, and found them through the Car Talk web site. They've been consistently professional, competent, timely, and honest. I scored them a 4 in the honest / competent and reasonable categories only because really, at the end of the day, do I know they're perfect? No, but they always have done a good job at a fair price. Their prices are consistently lower than the dealers, and they've told me on a few occasions that the work others are recommending is not required yet, or that the problem isn't all that bad (and thus talking themselves out of work, which I guess is a pretty honest thing to do!) A nice touch is the air freshener, magnetic calendar and a couple other doo-dads they left on my seat the first few times. Now I drop it off the night before, pay by credit card over the phone, and pick it up the next night. Never a problem. I'd certainly recommend them. Call ahead, they get busy at times and you may need to schedule a few days ahead of time.
